Roger moved to South Africa from Belgium to South Africa. He had a love for vehicles and dogs - both a love that Sulli shares with his grandfather.

Roger had two sons named Roger Jr and Christiaan.

Argent Motors
Roger was a business man at heart and managed a car dealership and garage in Johannesburg called Argent Motors. This was Sulli's inspiration when he named his shipping comany, Argent Shipping.

Dear Mother,
A few words to give you some news that are still very good. Mother Josée did write and I await new news from Cook agency in Belgium. She hopes to take a boat from Pretoria Castle on 10 July 1958. I will try to make the date sooner from Johannesburg. Mother I believe the ... will come in Lawley Saturday. I hope that Dad and yourself are in good health and so are my small devils.
